Lionel Benny holds a degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Real Estate Economist (EBS). As the founder and managing director of the Benny & Cie. Group in Bochum, he has been advising high-net-worth individuals, entrepreneurs, and institutional clients on strategic financial planning for more than 20 years. His expertise focuses on long-term wealth creation, the sustainable preservation of complex asset structures, and the precise structuring of international project financing – with a particular emphasis on the African market.
As a member of the Africa Association and co-founder of the Institute for Sustainable Sales Excellence, Lionel Benny is committed to promoting a values-based advisory culture. In addition, he supports international projects in the fields of education, financial inclusion, and sustainable development – always with the aim of achieving tangible impact on the African continent.

Donaly Malungu // Partner & International Project Manager
Donaly Malungu is a Partner of Benny & Cie. Capital GmbH, where he serves as International Project Manager and oversees the coordination and implementation of cross-border initiatives. A graduate economist and environmental expert, he brings with him extensive diplomatic experience – notably in his capacity as Honorary Consul for the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Through his distinctive international network, he creates substantial value for clients of Benny & Cie. Capital by connecting African, European, and global decision-makers.
In addition to his role at Benny & Cie. Capital, Donaly Malungu serves as Vice President of International Outreach at the Africa Chamber of Commerce in the United States of America. On the European continent, he also represents the interests of the Académie Diplomatique Africaine (ADA) in his capacity as Vice President.
